The Asphalt series from Gameloft has enjoyed pretty good success till now, especially on the iOS and Android platforms. Android and iOS users have been enjoying the latest Asphalt 7 with super high quality graphics and fluid gameplay but we windows phone users have been slapped with the Asphalt 5.
This version was released back in August 2010 (yes 2010!) and Gameloft has released it in Marketplace in 2012. The download size is 109MB which is at par with the sizes of NFS Underground and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.
Annexation is a turn based strategy game for windows phone that can be played by 2 or more players (upto 4 supported). If you are alone, you can play with the AI, which can set as weak, strong or best. In the game, you try to take over the board by choosing colors to take over around you. In order to win, all you have to do is occupy more area of the board than your opponent.
EA took quite a long time in getting Need for Speed (NFS) Hot Pursuit to our Windows Phones, but hey, since it is finally here, we are loving every bit of it. The game is just like the xBox / iOS version – you become either a cop or a thief. So when you are a good guy (cop), you chase the bag guys (or fellow cops) – the guy who has to be beaten and vice-versa. There are some levels (when you play as the thief), where you race against other ‘thieves’, just like you would do in vanilla NFS gameplay.
This windows phone game is pretty simple to one. The car auto accelerates and there are no complex mechanics to worry about. It is basically a pick-up and play and racing game, just like its predecessor - NFS Underground.
So, the Plants vs Zombies is now finally available for the Windows Phone platform and people seem to be loving game. However, it has made its debut with an expensive price tag of 5 dollars, which puts it in the premium apps category. So, is the price apt? Was the game satisfy our team? Read the review to find out.
Lately, I have seen a lot of quality games hitting the marketplace. When my friend told me about this game called Galaxium, I immediately got an idea that it would be a typical space shooter game. But boy, this game is much more than that. The game, Galaxium is unpredictable and exiting – two ingredients which are mandatory for a space invader / shooter game. Its game developer has created a game that keep evolving as you play and progress in it.
I normally do not do a lot of game reviews but this one deserves a special mention. Cyclops Ballz is a action packed game where you swipe your finger to hit the ball on the person standing at a distance. The animations are top notch, at par with the games from big software houses such as Electronic Arts, Glu and SEGA.
