Windows Phone Blue Update details

Microsoft has posted about a job requirement which throws some light on the upcoming update for the Windows Phone devices. Codenamed “Blue”, like its Windows 8 counterpart, the job posting requires touch-optimized version of Microsoft Excel. The posting also reveals existence of Excel MX team which should be very similar to the OneNote MX and Lynx MX.

The Windows Phone Blue update will bring myriad tweaks to the user experience and will bring newer (and better) version of Internet Explorer, Mail, Calendar, Bing and other Windows Phone 8 apps.

As a development lead you will hire and manage a team of top-notch developers, be personally involved in designing and coding features, and work closely with PM and Test counterparts across multiple orgs to help realize the vision of building high quality excel app for Windows Phone Blue.
