There are myriad endless runner games on the windows phone store but not a lot of them have great gameplay or graphics. Extra Mile Studios have released a game called Shred It that will join the list of high quality games. Shred It is an endless runner with a few interesting twists – and all done in a beautiful papercraft art style.
Shred It review
The game installed and ran just fine on my Microsoft Lumia 535. To celebrate its windows phone launch, the developers are giving away 12,500 paperclips that can be used to buy new characters and their outfits. These can also be used for extending the gameplay just like you do on Subway Surfers.
Gameplay is quite simple – just tap on the left or right to move left or right. Swipe up or down to jump or duck. Using these controls, you avoid obstacles.
As with any endless running game, the game gets tougher and faster as you progress. Every run is different so the user cannot memorize the patterns.
